I’m 3 days post Arthroscopic knee surgery to remove adhesions, scar tissue and clean up after bilateral patellar tendon ruptures 2 years ago. I’ve used BPC 157 and TB 500 a few months back, it did help with my SLAP tear, but didn’t fully heal it. Started a cycle 36 hours post surgery, and I can tell it’s helping with the pain and swelling. I can almost walk around like a human (slight limp). I do know that it doesn’t help almost 2 years after surgery, as the ligaments and tendons have already healed. I’m just hoping that after this surgery I’m in less pain than when I started.

My left leg has an "Rod " in it , little below my knee down to the ankle , it's been in my leg for 42 years :(:( . I have 2 screws in my right hip , that's where I'm having issues. The report I have shows that I have Highly suggestive Synovial Chondromatosis . Is it true, if I had the Synovial Chondromatosis , I will have to have hip surgery ? Keep in mind I ready had a right hip surgery , decades ago . I'm worried I might not be handle this surgery or even walk. I heard once you had a hip surgery , your chances to live is very slim . I am asking you just your opinion and I can handle the truth , that's the only way I want it , for someone tell the truth . Thank you . Debbie

I just did mine 2 weeks ago. Its very painful. Walking on flat ground is the worst. Up stairs no problem. I was carrying cynderblocks in my backyard. I stepped in a hole and it was immediately sore. I kept working on my home project and paid the price. I was kneeling down on knee pads adjusting sand to level the ground for the bricks when i leaned too far forward, and it let me know.. HEY STUPID! Youre injured. Lifting weights helps. As does some stretching. But Walking is a Mo Fo.

Had surgery for ruptured tricep tendon 4 weeks ago. The doctor said the surgery was successful. In a removable cast I take off 2-3 times a day to shower and move a little bit. I see my doctor Tuesday to see how I’m healing and what the next steps are. Can’t wait to get back to normal life and daily activities. I tore it snowboarding and I’m very active in the gym and surfing and skateboarding, as well. I’m also a roofer so life has been a bit difficult since my injury. Trying to be patient and definitely following doctors orders so I can get back to normal life!

I had my plica surgery for little over a month from now. What caused my plica tear was trauma to the knee from playing handball and always hiting and landing on that knee. I´ve had problems with my knee for some time now and contacted my orthopedic center and within 3 months I was laying on the surgery table. I had a MRI done and they found a crack/tear in the meniscus and nothing mentioning the plica. While doing the surgery they see that the meniscus tear was hard to reach and instead of laping it together they left it and found my plica syndrome. My journey so far has been very hard and stressful. Work has been calling me to get back as quickly as posible so my rehab has been stressful. I'm writing this comment on friday the 28th of june and I came back to work monday 24th of june... It's been a rough week you could say. This week I've mostly done administration jobs, sitting by desk as much as posible and taking minor walks. But in two weeks I'm supposed to get more physical duties. I'm scared that I won't be able to do my job the way I'm supposed to do it and that it will make my comeback journey much harder! If someone has some tips and ideas for me how to get through this, please tell me! Thank you Dr. David for making it a lot clearer for me!!!

I dislocated my knee in September during a wrestling accident. Fully torn ACL and PCL, partially torn MCL and LCL. My MCL fractured a piece of bone off and got stuck under my patella when it was reduced. I had surgery in October, PTG done for my ACL and had a cadaver graft done on my PCL, MCL was repaired as well, LCL didn’t require repair. My hardest struggle has been ROM so far, I just had a MUA done at the beginning of the month but they were only get it to 125° due to what they think is quad tightness, they said there was a risk of patella fracture and quad tear if they pushed it any further. I am able to push it to that 125 mark in PT with quite a bit of pain. I am starting to lose hope that I will get most of my ROM back, I’m not expecting it to match my good knee, but hopefully can get to 140° eventually but I am not sure the likelihood of that. Seeing my surgeon next month and we’ll see if I have any other options at this point. Just happy to be living a somewhat normal of a life again.

Hello. Not sure if you can help or lead me in the right direction? I'm 54 and in pretty good shape otherwise except for right side hip pain. I've been lifting weights for 40 years and never had an issue with my hip until about 4 years ago when I noticed some discomfort to the outside of my right hip the day after heavy full squats. It went away until I squatted again and then sometimes I would feel it in the low back above the buttock on that side after deadlifting. This went on for years and I tried to work around it by decreasing the weight for awhile, switching exercises, ect. But eventually I could feel it while squatting and for the past 6 months or so it has been bothering me at work as I stand and walk a lot. I have since stopped the heavy squats and deadlifts and now do light hack squats and some stiff-leg deadlifts, but the pain is almost constant. Its not really bad, just a dull ache mostly to the outside of the hip and sometimes the low back on that side, especially when sitting or standing for prolonged periods. I finally saw a doctor a few months ago and got an x-ray that he said looked good for someone my age, except for a small area to the L5-S1 with mild spondylosis, but he didn't think it was related to my hip pain. I got a cortisone shop to the hip joint which may have helped for a day or two, but then the pain was back to the way it was. I then tried Celebrex instead of the Ibuprofen I was taking with little to no relief. He then suggested PT and I did that for about 6 weeks with maybe slight relief at times, but not enough to make a difference. To be fair I didn't do all the exercises and stretches consistently (maybe every other or 3rd day) d/t work demands, my working out and their availability. Some of the stretches really hurt too, so I didn't want to push those and make it worse in case it was a tear or something. So I finally got an MRI the other day. The Dr. hasn't reviewed it yet, but it is apparently showing several small tears to the labral area. Now your video is confusing me because I have absolutely no pain towards the groin. It is all towards the outside of the hip and that is why we thought it was bursitis at first. The MRI also showed a small amount of fluid to the hip joint which says may reflect Chondrolabral Separation (whatever that means). Not sure what to do now? I know I don't want surgery and can get around fine at the moment, but just dealing with the constant pain and it is hindering my workouts. I know I don't want surgery and heard a lot of people end up having more surgeries later d/t scar tissue, ect. But I also heard that the cartilage does not heal itself (which is weird because I injured both my shoulders numerous times lifting and with enough rest or exercise modification, they always seemed to eventually heal on their own. But maybe the hip is different since you have to walk and stand on it every day? Anyway, any advice would be appreciated. I guess my biggest question is should I continue to work out (of course lighter weights for the lower body and don't do anything that obviously hurts) and continue the stretching and exercises PT suggested which currently include fire hydrants, hip thrusts without weight, planks, hamstring stretches and piriformis stretches (this is the one that hurts since I can't bend that leg down like the other side). I've been doing one set of these about every other day on the days I work out. BTW forgot to mention I got out of the habit of stretching years ago so that may be part of the issue, along with aging, as to why the heavy lifting may have caught up with me. Another thought is maybe trying something like PRP or stem cell injection. I know you probably can't legally recommend it since its not currently approved by the FDA, but from what I found online it sounds like it has much better success rates than even surgery and you are not out of commission for weeks or months. But then again it is very pricey and hate to spend all that money and take the chance it doesn't work, so just wondering if I should at least look into it? thanks again and sorry for the long post.

Yes I had a outside hardware surgery on my leg/ankle. I'm not a skinny guy but I do exercise to stay lean and fit. But I haven't been able to cause a year later after hardware surgery implant it's nothing but pain. Can't wear shoes or boots for to long cause the pain and my foot locks up or cramps up and I got less flexibility . My leg is healed but the pain still feels like it's broken. So I will have it removed and Doc said it's a 50/50 that pain will go away. That's not cool. But I guess it's worth a try even though costing me big money but I haven't been able to run or jump rope for almost a year now cause of the pain. My xray shows bone is healed so why do I have pain.

I have had chronic lower back pain for 12-15 years. Often times when the pain is at it's worse, I actually have testicle pain. That pain can actually switch from one to the other on any given day. What causes this?

I am an 85 year old female, not very strong. I fell making my bed I went to emergency. They they tried to fix my dislocated shoulder. They were having trouble then they one fellow said doesn’t feel right. They sent me to imaging and they got x-rays and I was halfway out. The ball was halfway out and down below. It looks like an ice cream cone. I had a crack, about 40% of the way across so now they sent me home in a phone sling and I’m waiting to see what they wanna do with me. I have a fib occasionally and fluttering so I don’t know if they’ll get me cardiology just happened last night so I’m home. It’s very hard to get from a chair to the walker. Takes me about 30 minutes but I get up, thank you for listening
